A lovely recipe for boosting memory and increasing the immunity system. This is normally prepared during monsoon and winter season for it helps in boosting the immunity in the body.
1 cup Brahmi leaves(Bacopa monnieri)
5-6 green chillies
3/4th cup fresh grated Coconut
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon ghee (clarified butter)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon tamarind extract or 1-2 small pieces of tamarind
Heat ghee and fry the Brahmi leaves till they turn yellowish.
Remove from pan and fry coconut (without oil) for 2-3 min.
Grind coconut and leaves with all other ingredients. Add salt and serve with rice. Once the whole thing is grinded do not heat again. Normally this should be taken on the day of preparation itself.
1. Helps in balancing Pitta in body.
2. Stress level goes down and is good if taken thrice in a week.
3. Extremely good when taken for a month or more slowly the memory improvement happens
